Charles Spurgeon provided a great service to the church with the publication of his Commenting and Commentaries in 1876. It is a very useful guide to commentaries on the whole Bible as well as books and sections of the Bible.
Satch Chikhlia has also done a great service by, wherever possible, providing links to online editions of each commentary referenced by Spurgeon at the Book Academy. I encourage readers who are interested in Spurgeon's recommendations to check it out.
