Witsius 2010

This year has already seen the republication by Reformed Academic Press of one of Herman Witsius' classic orations, On the Character of a True Theologian. Now comes the good news that Reformation Heritage Press is republishing "The Major Works of Herman Witsius" in five volumes, that is, The Economy of the Covenants Between God and Man (2 vols.), Sacred Dissertations on the Apostles Creed (2 vols.) and Sacred Dissertations on the Lord's Prayer (1 vol.). These are due out in August 2010. It is a good year for Witsius and for those who enjoy the writings of this irenic divine.
