Matthew Henry Commentary Challenge

On January 1, 2010, I launched the Matthew Henry Commentary Challenge. It is an ongoing effort to encourage students of the Bible to take up the famous devotional commentary by English Puritan Matthew Henry (1662-1714) and read. Some readers may, like George Whitfield, read the commentary in its entirety, while others may read particular selections that are of personal interest. In either case, I am sure you will be blessed by the devotional thoughts of this great man of God. As Henry himself was a lover of God's Word, may the study of his commentary help many to draw nearer to the Word of God, that is, Jesus Christ.
