Waldo McBurney (1902-2009)

I have been informed that Waldo McBurney entered his heavenly glory last night (Wednesday, July 8, 2009) at around 9:00 pm, unbeknowst to me before I wrote my previous blog post, at the age of 106. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. May he rest in the eternal arms.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. (Ps. 116.15)

    Hi Andrew,

    The verse you quoted is Psalm 116:15 not Psalm 115:16

    Thanks Andrew. A Very interesting life. One I would love to read through. A sweet providence that you wrote about his life just before his death. Waldo McBurney will no longing be running but entered into the joy of his Lord. Isn't that always an awe inspiring, amazing and encourageing thought!
