As by the appointment of the Law, the Sabbath was celebrated to keepe fresh in memory the making of the world: So now is the LORDS-day for use, to keep fresh the memoriall of Christ his resurrection; and therefore also to confirme the hope of our owne resurrection. But, when this change was made, we have it not expressely set downe in the holy Scriptures: Notwithstanding in the Revelation of S. John there is expresse mention made of the LORDS-day. Cap. 1.10.
